Speshal Dare 22

Only half an hour late! LOL...not bad for me then!
So glad it is the weekend ..don't like this time of the year when we know that summer is most definitely over. I could quite easily hibernate.
Busy week..training at school ( attachment theory...not impressed :(), Governor meeting at Dans school ..one hour meeting tow and a half hours travelling to get there!
Poor dad has been back to hosp as his knee is still not healed and the docs have advised him to have it removed. I am sure he is devastated. They think the bone is infected . He has suffered so much , this will be his fourth amputation on his legs.
Not a great day at school as it was non uniform day..always makes the children "high" especially on a Friday too. The afternoon lessons were almost a waste of time.
So...hopefully a nice quiet weekend??

A couple of Lo's from past kits both were of the wedding we went to last year. It was at Babington House ..a really gorgeous place. We stayed two nights and had the time of our lives. Jamie Cullum was also at the wedding and in the room down the hall from us :)

Second is his brother , SIL and niece ..who gave birth to a baby girl yesterday..Congratulations Donna!

A couple

of Lo's i finished off from last weeks crop at the scrapping angels retreat.
Had a great day yesterday at Wyverstone, managed to do the ready steady crap challenge. Those days go too fast but at least i am always inspired when i get back. Some VERY talented scrappers. Ness brought her shop and i think i bought everyone of the new Kelly Panacci papers ...yum. I MUST use them!!
Been a horrible rainy day here and i have been doing boring things like the washing and Megs homework.

Just made Dex VERY happy

LOL ....no not what you are thinking.!!
He has lead a very sheltered life and not been to many concerts and stuff, so i have got him tickets to see The Stranglers ( one of his all time fav groups ) at the UEA in Norwich in a couple of weeks :) ..He is over the moon as he has never seen them live...Nets is gonna go with him ( i am not a stranglers fan )Cool eh?
Just got confirmation that we can have our holiday in Cornwall next August ( see photo below) ..i know its a long way off but it is so popular that we weren't sure we would be able to get it ( though we have stayed there a couple of times before). I am soo excited as we will be there for two weeks and it is so peaceful :)

....as i am typing this at work ( in my lunch hour) , but still on the schools PC...
Had a great time at the weekend at the Scrapping Angels crop. Spent some quality time with my Sis Nets..not done that for ages. So nice to have a conversation without one of our children interupting .
MY Tomtom works really well and took me home an unusual ( but quick) way from Bury..didn't meet many cars. DEx is now worried that i can go where ever i want to now ;)
Ohh BTW i don't have google spell check here so please excuse any mistakes!! LOL
I got to meet Emily and Anna and Ann(i)e :) :) I started all the projects but haven't finished any yet..as soon as i do , i will show you . Brill classes.
It was lovely to meet lots of people who i have only seen online before and make new friends too.
Off to Wyverstone this Saturday , so i am being spoiled and make actually finish something!! I have two Ali E challenges to do too.

Really looking forward to spending the weekend in a nice hotel, some fab teachers and wonderful friends ( and friends to be :)) Of course i am no where near ready!!
Dex bought me a tom tom so i won't get lost on the way home ;)
Poor , poor Dex. Yesterday he was complaining of a bad back and bought himself some of the horribly smell deep heat spray. He asked me to spray his back...so i did. I gave it a good spray. He said "that's enough" and a couple of mins later, it went bright red and looked like sunburn. So...........................i read the label ( like you do) and it said "spray sparingly" :) He had to lay in a cold bath for 20 mins..is ok now ( resorted to paracetamol for the back ache) has a slight phobia of spray cans though...............awful wife that i am, i am abandoning him with our delightful children for the weekend LOL.

Worn out

already this week ..can't believe it is only Monday!! School was busy, i have a few to keep an eye on now and that includes break and lunch times. I know i should just go to the staff room and sit and eat but i do worry about them. I suppose its having difficult children myself ,just hoping someone is watching out for them too.
I get home from work ,do tea (Dex and i take turns) and then sort out the homework/spellings( even though mine leaves a lot to be desired)and reading.( Dex and i do NOT take turns!) Boy there was a lot tonight!! Then it is bath time , supper , story and bed ..opps its 9pm and i am shattered LOL.
I need to scrap for relaxation and there is rubbish on Tv tonight..if i can stay awake..................

Meg has been diabetic since she was five and has lots of problems being stable. We have to test her blood ( at least four times a day ) and then give insulin according to the result. After 6 years most children would be a lot more stable and be able to use a pen.

Only got No 9 to do and i have caught up to the lovely Annie (http://www.ahafermann.typepad.com/). Used my plain Jane chipboard leaves to draw around and kept it simple. Last years Sponsored walk at the high school..yes i did walk it too! :)

How sweet

is my darling husband? I am off to the scrapping Angels retreat at Bury next Saturday. I have a map but i always like to know exactly which lane to be in before i go anywhere. So he is going to take us for a run out this weekend...I am such a nit!!
I have Ali E's challenge almost done, just need to add a couple of bits and stick stuff down. Sooooooooo tired that i probably won't do it tonight. We had a really bad thunder storm last night and a power cut . The noise and the dark upset the children and i ended up a sandwich in my bed!! it was so hot too.
Will try to get it done and uploaded tomorrow night.

Scrapbooking at work..yayyy

How cool is that? Last lesson on a Friday, i am supporting a young lady in textiles she has Downs and cannot access the lesson in the same way as the other students. We are going to be doing a BOM ( book of me , for Steph). We have about six weeks and i shall bring in stamps, punches paint etc, so that we can do something different each week. We will only have an hour though for each page but i think she is really looking forward to it.
Busy day today. Dex wanted us ALL to go shopping ( deep joy) but i managed to persuade him just to go with Meg . Nats is not even up yet and Dan was out all day yesterday ( they now have Ipswich Town season tickets )watching the match and needs routine and order today ( its part of his ASD, he can only cope with so much unpredictable stuff). Going to Hintlesham was out of the question too unfortunately ....even though i haven't been once yet. Ahh well its the scrapping Angels retreat in two weeks time. Really looking forward to that.
Managed to do the Ali Edwards No 7 challenge..to use 7 pieces of patterned paper on one LO..the 7th has been cut into lace with the craft robo. The subject is once again Rose.
Off to do washing, ironing, supervise homework and get all the school stuff ready for tomorrow.

Nineteen

So Hot!!

I have been so hot all day! Even after a cool bath, i am melting.
First day back at school today. My timetable was clear as mud as usual LOL.. I spent half of one lesson looking for a particular child to support and was sent all over the school before i found him. I spent another period in the wrong lesson ( shame as i love biology!) Can't get over how tall everyone has grown ..or maybe i am just shrinking LOL
Just finished assembling ( after blitzing Dan's room) Dan's new bed. Most definitely thew last one i am buying him!! He broke the last one , in ways you wouldn't believe. I bought him one of those high beds before that about three years ago. Stupidly not thinking how difficult it would be for a shorty like me to change the sheets! Not nice after an accident in the middle of the night and i had wee dripping on my head. Or, that Dan is so tall he couldn't sit up in bed without banging his head......sigh.
Too tired to scrap at the mo but hopeing to do some at the weekend. Dan and Dex now have season tickets for Ipswich ..so every other Sat , i shall have a bit of peace :) :)

My Baby

Has started high school today!! She is so nervous ..as you can see in the photo ..no smiles this morning. Although she did manage one as the taxi was pulling away. She was picked up at 8am..far to early for a 7 mile trip! apparently , she is the first to be picked up and last to be dropped off and they didn't know she was diabetic. The taxi driver has a diabetic son and is going to ask if she can be picked up later by another taxi. I have given her extra snacks today as i am sure she is going to use up so much energy just worrying.
I am back to work today , but just for a little while this morning for some INSET. Back properly on Wednesday when the school is open.
Dan goes back to school tomorrow.
My infection seems to be cleared up now. My antiboitics finish tomorrow.

A Visit

From Anet and Rose. My children of course were delighted to have such a little bundle of cuteness here for the day. She is so funny ( Rose ..Anet we already know about!) I thought I had finished with the children's Tot TV and websites but no , we have all been dancing to Fifi and the flowertots?!? LOL
It was lovely to be able to spend a few mins chatting about stash and placing a small order together..just imagine how much damage we'd do if we saw each other more often!! Looking forward to Bury in a few weeks time ..we are sharing !

Ali Edwards Challenge No 6

Finally done. Its been on my table for over a week but i just haven't felt like doing it. Anyway, its nice and simple. A photograph of Mum and dad before they were married. This one is for Mum's birthday ..on 18th Aug, she would have been 70.
Not a good night last night. We couldn't get to sleep. Dex got up at 2,30, Meg came in as usual at 3.30 saying Dan was making noises( he had been shouting in his sleep again)..When i went to check, he was fitting. It only lasted about 2 mins but he was half on the bed , half on the floor ( thankfully we are waiting for a new bed to arrive and he is sleeping on the floor on his mattress anyway) . He woke at 4.30 with a bad headache and then we all slept ...till 7,30..................so an early night tonight!
Meg took all her diabetic paraphernalia to her new high school today, which was good as she got to meet the SENCO again and that has calmed her nerves a bit.
I have been ironing and altering school uniform today ( big beamy smile!)

Bum!

Antibiotics not working ..swelling spreading..have just been prescribed stronger "stuff".
Had to use my lovely new permanent slick writer to draw around offending belly ( bet they never thought it would be used for that!..... And, NO there will be no photos!!!)so that i can keep an eye on the redness..if it spreads anymore in the next 48 hrs, i have to go back for MEGA antibiotics ( Doc says they will make me feel really ill...................ohh joy) LOL......fingers crossed..not panicking about being ready for work on Monday!

A bit better today

I think the antibiotics are starting to work.
I have a LO on my table that is waiting to be finished , it has been there for three days now. I am hoping to be able to do it tomorrow. I recived my order from papermaze this morning ( thanks Ness) all of the new Daisey D's Gypsy papers ......yumm. She has 20% off all her papers till midnight tonight :)

Fed up!

Had a bad few nights sleep and thought it was just coz i had over done the house work but the skin all round my stitches is hot and red and it is spreading. ( sorry too much info LOL) Had to call NHS direct and they sent a Doc out. Am now on antibiotics :( ..Hope they work fast coz i don't have time to feel yuk. Got a busy week before children go back to school. Doc left me a couple of tabs and Dex has to pick up the rest from Tescos when he finishes work in the morning.

Happy Saturday !

Had a lovely surprise visit from one of my sisters :) Don't see her often enough.
Cleaned my cooker yesterday ( both ovens) and today i am paying for it..all my tummy muscles hurt!..That'll teach me ..should have waited a bit longer.
Did last weeks Speshal Dare ( which COULD also "do" for the Elsie Flannigan's first challenge) Not really happy with it but it does what it says on the box :)
Hope everyone has a great Bank hol. Dex is back to work Monday morning and tomorrow needs to take loads to the skip..so pretty boring here.

Changed the music

I am sure you all now know that Darren thinks i am beautiful ;) .........NO i haven't changed the artist LOL The animal song was a Savage Garden song, not one of my very favs but i LOVED the film that it was the soundf track for. It was not an epic AND it a bit too cute but anyone who has a daughter with learning difficulties may well like it. I saw a lot of Natalie in this film. Ohh its called "The other Sister".

A cold rainy day today

AND i am going to be lazy and have fish n' chips for tea.
Dex and Daniel went to Ipswich town FC to day ( with kids klub). They BOTH had a great day although (of course) they both came home with new kit. Dex forgot to take a camera....men!! He said lots of people took photos , so i might still get some. Dex was so impressed with the day that he has phoned to ask about a season ticket for them both. Nice quiet Saturdays then ;) LOL

At Wyverstone Crop. Managed to get my Ali E No 3 Challenge done. Have also come home with next months Scrapagogo kit to play with ..its GorG!!Lorraine had her shop there and well..it would have been rude not to buy a little stash. I got some MM vintage hip trims..velvet ribbons and lace, and sassafras lass stitched boarder stamps.
Natalie went to the seaside for the weekend..hope she has some good weather..it seems too cold already!!
I am really looking forward to having a soak in the bath tonight , it should be safe enough now that i have healed..fed up with showers.
For challenge No 3 you had to make your own patterned paper. I told Steph ( my sis ) that i was excited about using some new rubber stamps and her reply was " oh for goodness sake get some lino and make your own!" So i did :) The print was used down the side and then i used glitter and pen to decorate. The flower was designed by Emma and Tina for the Craft Robo on UKs.

Home

Got home yesterday lunchtime ( thanks Anet, Raymond and Rose). I can't believe how tired i am LOL. Hopefully it won't last and i can catch up on some scrapping.
Have five gall stones and gall bladder removed. Have to say that hospital was amazing. It is the very first time i have had to stay in other than to give birth ( which was also much more painful!!) The staff were wonderful, the food out of this world and the place so peaceful....ahh well back to normal chaos LOL
The children are being lovely at the mo and i have had loads of cuddles from Dan ( who stopped cuddling a while ago ..not cool!)
Thank everyone for such lovely messages...business will resume ASAP :)

Ohh My goodness!!

Megan's new school uniform arrived today. Apart from the trousers being a little on the long size, they all fit...but she looks SO grown up!!!

Off for a couple of days

Got a call to go to Hospital to have my gall stones removed tomorrow. I have to admit that i have been very lucky so far as this is my very first operation. I did think that i would only be in for the day ( as that's what i was originally told) but, i have to go to a different hosp (private as the local is over booked) and they say up to two days. Poor Dex at home with our lot!!!!
Anyway i am off top buy some scrapbook mags later today . I have already told Dex that only only want flowers that are rubber stamps ;) ;)
I shall miss the new Ali E challenge on Anne's blog tomorrow and the start of the CC on scrappad AND the new speshal dare...just as i had caught up!!! oh well

A mixed day

I was happy this morning..well reasonably :) A parcel from Artbase is always a nice way to start the day ..even if i do have to sign for it from behind the door as i have just got out of the bath!!
Took Nats to her Doc's appointment in Stowmarket, fine new doctor..very nice and i can understand everything his says ..always a plus :)
Came home, phone to a call for Nats to go out with some friends this afternoon bowling..how lovely..can i just drop her off a few miles away and they will bring her back. Yup great!
No the bloody car will not start..nothing ..Dex gets up and tries ..its not making a sound ..even with his flash charger thingy :( :( :( This looks like it is going to cost lots..i wish i had never bought the car as it is such a drain..any regular readers will know i have already spent far too much on this car already!!
Ohh and i can't unlock the backdoor as the lock is jamming...joy!

Well it feels like the first day of my hol today ( as i don't have to be anywhere) and of course it is raining LOL!! Ah well what better excuse to just scrap all day ( i am sure it is what my darling intend to do !!;)) Meg is already grounded anyway. She is allowed to go to "the green" around the corner from our house, as long as she takes her mobile with her ( so i can check she is ok and gently remind her when to come home). I phoned three times last night and she turned the phone off !! Little horror!! Dex had to go get her ..apparently there was a drunk man sitting on one of the benches swearing away to himself and Megan + friends wanted to watch !!! They were keeping well away.. but that is why she is gounded today.
Managed to finish the other side to the double LO i started yesterday ...ooo and won a prize in the Uk's CC raffle :)

Cyber crop

Managed to do a little of the UK's Cyber Crop today..mind you , it has been like pushing mud up a hill!! I have had to stop SO many times!! The crop lasted all week and would have been ideal for me, if it hadn't have been for playscheme..ahh well.

In a min to the end of plays cheme Chinese meal. Was at a bar b que last night. Really just want to stay home and scrap!!
Had a phone call from the hosp . they are going to try and get my op done before then end of Aug. Also had a letter re Dan's EEG , we have to phone and make arrangements.
Managed to do the clipboard project on the UK's summer cyber crop . I am hoping to something else before it ends tomorrow night.

Tired and Grumpy

But my own fault for doing playscheme!! I tried to go for a quick lay down and just to be alone for a little while , but, they found me. Meg wanted to watch TV in my room and was fighting with Natalie so i gave in.
I am one of those people who NEED to be alone for part of the day. I suppose because my family is SO demanding , needy and noisy, i just need and hour or two's solitude. I very often have to stay up late to get this though. Pity as by then i am too tired to do anything except just "be" LOL

Nocturnal Epilepsy

Is what the doc says Dan has. The good news is that it might just go away and at the moment he doesn't need any extra medication...i was worried about that!
I do need to keep a diary of any weird noises he makes in his sleep , he sometimes cries and often shouts out . The doc thinks this happens AFTER a fit. He will have regular check ups and needs a sleep deprived EEG ( oh what fun). The worst thing today was waiting and hour and a half to be seen ( for a 12yr old with ADHD ..no fun!) And i KNOW that Some people had to wait longer.
Second day of playscheme ..of course i wasn't there much, just long enough to get them all started on rubber stamped Christmas cards. Iris folded ones tomorrow.

Great weekend

At Thornham woods. Boy was it hot though! Spent the whole weekend away ( not far though ) arrived about 4.30 on Friday and left 5.30 Sunday. Practically no sleep what so ever..well if can call going to bed at 4.15 on sat morning till 8 am LOL
Lorraine from Scrapagogo had her shop there the whole weekend too..great didn't have to pack many papers. Even though i talked for England( sorry Pat!) i still managed to get 5 Lo's and a mini book done. Janice organised a brilliant weekend and i can't wait till next time. Wonderful company and a great laugh, i was even out snored, so i didn't feel so bad LOL
Started playscheme today. Wasn't as bad as i thought it would be as are down on numbers. They all had a great day making Santa cards, wall climbing, badge making, playing football etc etc.
Have to take Dan to hospital tomorrow as he had a fit at 3am Fri morning. He has had one about 18 months ago and was checked out ( again this was in his sleep) Doc thinks he might be having them more often and we don't know about it as we are all asleep :( I just hope he doesn't have to have more medication.
Anyway on a brighter note , here are a couple of my weekend Lo's :

My first cut

With the new craft robo ( or robocop as Dex calls it!). I am VERY happy as it arrived yesterday from the lovely Scrapbook lady online store ( sorry i am rubbish at links). I had ordered from premier presentations but they didn't have any in stock and couldn't say when i would get it.
I am really happy and this card is one of the first things i did..sorry about the choice of papers ..didn't really think LOL.

Christmas!!

Blahh Humbug !! It is the theme for this years playscheme and i have to design five cards , for the children to make next week..JOY! Just hope it has cooled down a little by then. I only left school on Fri for my hols and am back again next week with 200 children between 5 and 11 yrs..........i must be MAD!

Took Nats to look around Thornham fordge workshops yesterday. I have never been before and its only a few miles away. They mostly do woodwork and turning but also do IT, crafts, independent living skills and horticulture. No sure how easy it will be to get Nats in , you have to be referred by social services ( but that shouldn't be a problem). She is only at collage for two days at week from Sept and would just lay in bed if left to herself. She seemed to like the place anyway ( especially the crafts, no scrapbooking though)

My SENCO at school is very keen to get some of the children to scrapbook ( i took an album in to show her) She thinks it would be really good for their self esteem, also for some who have problems at home to get some really nice happy photos done.
Was given a really nice compliment before end of term and told i must never leave. Awww felt nice.

We went out again yesterday LOL ALL of us. Just to Mcdonalds ( not been for AGES..revolting!!) and then onto Felixstowe for a walk along the beach and play in the arcades. By the time we popped into Asda on the way home it was 11pm! Tried to watch a video but fell asleep LOL

Camera is playing up! Really need to get both my caremas checked out as i am having problems with both of them :(

Went to get my eyes tested ( with Meg ) yesterday. We both need new lenses..Meg needs completely new specs as she broke hers. At least hers are free. Mine were £200 just for new lenses !!. Daniel and Dex go on Thursday and Nats on Friday...keep your fingers crossed coz i think we'll be broke by Saturday.
I am off the Thornham woods on Friday night for a weekend of scrapping ( and buying ..scrapagogo's shop will be there) Had a really FAB time last year and expect the samr this year.
Definately going to do the Speshal dare this week. I am VERY poud of my sis Annette who has done this :

Most of you must know i LOVE this man :) His lyrics, his veiws on life almopst everything about him.
On June 19th 2006 Darren married his boyfriend of two years, Richard, in a
Civil Partnership ceremony in London. Big Congratulations to them both. Dex is also happy that there is absolutly no chance of me running off with him now either.
I wish them all the happiness in the world. Darren is also about to start work on his next album :)

No scrapping

But i have been busy :)
We now have new windows, i spent ages clearing all the bedrooms. Ours was awful and so was the utility room. Dex took lots of bags of rubbish and clothes to the dump. The house looks so much better. Looks like we are going to have some work done on the kitchen too as it is so small and not user friendly at the mo.
I lied as i have been doing a little bit of scrapping with the year 9's at school. They are doing a scrapbook of photos for our retiring head. We were working in a very small room though and it was hot...gosh don't 14 year old girls moan!! LOL
My poor old car has been though it recently ( as well as my bank account!) after taxing and MOTing it this month i also had to have the catalytic converter replaced ( it sounded like they had left a bag of spanners in it after the MOT!) Not forgetting the brakes from Dex's breakdown last month !!! ( i must have been rich before i had a car and scrap booked)
Meg brought home her very last primary school photo today, Bless her.
















I am trying hard to fit everything in over the next couple of weeks and have to keep looking at my diary to see what i am supposed to be doing LOL. School plays, sports days, training days ,leavers Bar B Que etc ...roll on holidays!!
Can i just say a VERY big thank you to Anam for pointing out the spell check thingy ( yes that is not a word ;)) on my Google tool bar..not noticed it before and boy do i need it !! LOL ( that was NOT a question Steph!!)

Been Lazy

Most of the day. Really needed to do loads of tidying but just didn't feel like it..so didn't LOL
Had a Lovely visit from The Taylors yesterday :) Don't see them as often as i'd like as we are all so busy now. Rose was a delight as usual and very funny. I can see Nets and Raymond are going to have their hands full when she is older. My children were fighting to get her attention but there was plenty to go round, though i think already she has a soft stop for Daniel ..he gets the biggest smiles :)
Managed to do a double LO this weekend...haven't done one of those for AGES! It was a UKs challenge to use up some stash ( i thought it was just for collecting!) and to do an altered title. I chose Trebah Garden in Cornwall as they are so Lovely. We went in 2004 and still can't afford to go back till next year.

the really wierd thing is , i couldn't remember how many acres of hydrangers there were . I tried looking on the Trebah website but it didn't have the infomation , so , i searched google using the phrase: Trebah gardens hydrangers ( and i spelt it wrong....no suprise there!) Anyway one link come up with the exact infomation i need..Wait for it..By a thread on Uks by soojay (ME!!) So i answed my own question how creepy is that!

My poor niece broke her wrist today at school. She slipped in the rain playing rounders on the field. Broke her Ulna and fractured her radius.She has to go back to hospital on Monday to see if it has to be pinned. Its times like that , i am glad i work at the high school as i was able to sit with her till my sister arrived to take her to hospital.
What a day!! When i arrived at work this morn, i found out that the SEN dep. had been broken into. Although they made a mess ( we were not allowed to clean up our lockers till the police had finger printed them), not a lot was stolen, two laptops and MY scrapbook bag ( i have been working on the heads leaving gift with some year 9's)





















Its quite a distinctive bag so it will stand out a mile around here. I know of very few scrappers who would have a bag like this who live locally!
Poor Dex had all the children home with him today (techically yesterday now) and was really tired when i got home from work although he said they had behaved very well.
Our School got the sport/sience status that we applied for which is great. We are going to have loads more buildings and we have finally got the field next to us. There are going to be at least two large sports buildings and finally foodlit tennis courts. Boy am i glad i am not the evening caretaker anymore!! I was finding it very hard last year to get everything done without all the new buildings to look after.
Got to spend the weekend cleaning as we are having new windows put in next week and the workmen have to actually get to the bloody things!!!...Need a skip!

Quick word about special schools

Got Daniels school report yesterday ( well actually found it on the floor in the living room!!) Dan is n year 7 at Ashley special schhool and this was his very first report.
He had a VERY hard time at primary school and in the end hated going and often came home wishing he as dead!
His reoprt was Brill ..i am so proud of what he has achived since he has been there and it has all been worth while. I felt bad about sending to a school where he has to be picked up at 7.30 each morning and dropped off at 4.45 each day, where he didn't know anyone etc.
Here is the bit HE wrote in his report:


I am much happier at this school, and i get more help. I still need to improve some of my behaviour but i have tried really hard. I really like activities like, signing,waterpolo and football.



He has also ( finally) learned to swim..hence the waterpolo) and represented his school in cross country.....last year i took him out of the primary sports day as it did NOTHING to encourage him or promote his very low self esteem.
Just thought i'd share something wonderful for a change, and say that i am so glad we were able to get him into one of the ever decreasing supply of special needs schools.

Burnt!

Well my arms and neck are. It was sports day at our high school today. I spent the morning walking around the field nagging everyone to drink and cover up. It did turn into a water fight at one point ( just a few year 9's messing about! ). I think a total of three school records were broken today ..so not a bad day :)
We are supposed to get rain storms tomorrow, no sign yet.
Must make a start on my "speshal" dare this week..have thew photo printed out ready.

Melting

But not going to complain about the weather. We don't get enough sunshine in my opinion.
Nothing exciting to report this weekend. Dex took Dan and Meg out to the cinema, of all places to day..he said it was quiet cool inside. They all had fun anyway, though they came home with out doing lunch ( megs fault!) They saw "over the hedge" which they all said was great. Apparently there is a squirrel in it that Dex is sure has ADHD as it reminded him of Dan.
I went Tesco with Natalie but she had a funny turn and was sick in the loo's.....I think it was the heat. The ladies in Tesco were lovely ..i personally think i should just send all the stores i shop in a bunch of flowers each month !! They are SO used to us now!
Was looking though some old photos last night and found the first one i remember taking..its of London bridge ( i was on a school trip in 1974 )..I was really proud of it and have scanned it..Also found photos of me young and slim ..none of my family recognised me !!!
