Look

Sorry about Layout of photos..BUT .....................LOOK at all this yummy stash. This is ScrapaGoGo's October Kit and even though i got to "play" yesterday, I'd quite like to stay home tomorrow and play again!

Not happy about having to leave it to cook, clean and get school stuff ready.

Dan and Dex have gone off to the wilds of Stowmarket in serach of a waste place. Our local dump has been closed for at least a month and the bin men are so fussy about what they will take. What a mess they have made of this rubbish/recycling business. I am very happy to recycle but don't have the time to travel all over the place, OR the space to store it for weeks on end!

Ohh Joy, I KNOW i am by no means alone!

Busy week next week. I hate it went the weeks is all mapped out ( with very little free time!)

Grr we can't go out for our date on Thursday, as i have a Gov meeting ( miles away!)

I shall stop moaning now LOL

How

...is it possible to be this tired and still be awake? LOL I have so much to do and loads of other stuff i WANT to do but, don't seem to be capable of much. I need to start going to bed earlier...isn't it a joy getting older LOL
My legs have been swollen each evening this week, so i need to make sure that i get chance to sit down a bit more during the day. It isn't always possible in lessons, especially as i like to move around the class. I seem to be supporting in quite a few French lessons this term, so i expect my very poor French might improve.
I do love being at work..teenagers are so funny. Quite a few of the boys have grown and love that they tower over me, i am sure i am shrinking!
Looking forward to getting the scrapaGoGo DT kit for October soon and am hoping i have woken up enough at the weekend to do a bit of creating :)

Today

Usual boring stuff. Washing, cleaning etc but.............I did have a little play with my stamps and flower punches :)

Dunno when i will next up date as its busy at work and i am back on my course tomorrow.

Yesterday

We went to Nets for the afternoon. The children loved playing with Rose while Nets and I chatted and stamped. I love the look on concentration on her face while reading her books!

Rose has a cute little tent but instead of playing "mums and dads" or "house", they were playing HOTELS!!..Meg providing room service LOL

Sore Feet!

Been wearing shoes today for the first time in AGES and now have blisters on both heels :( ...Back to sandals tomorrow. My feet have got all delicate over the hols. LOL
Can't believe how chaotic it all is at school. The Ta's still don't have a timetable yet and i needed to be in three different places at once a lunchtime. Had forgotten how stressful it all is ..ahh well..soon be the weekend.

Another card

Actually I made a few but only scanned one in. Have ordered four more stamps and am taking part in a swap. So , expect to see a few more soon.

Won't be updating so often from tomorrow as it back to work and back on my course. Just about to get the kids to bed and settle down to watch the second part of silent witness before i get ready for bed to. Early morning is going to come as a shock to everyone LOL.

Well MY children are ready to go back to school! Or rather I am ready to wave them off. Meg and Dan were grounded ( what a silly idea...keep them in all day with us!!) today AND tomorrow. Megs screams have reached new heights, its amazing , i can go from being reasonably calm and sane , to wanting to strangle her as soon as she screams.

Dan's new school trousers arrived late this afternoon, but as i measured his waist and he wears them on his hips, they are miles too tight. So, i traipse off to Tesco's to the men's dept. Perfect size 32 waist, 33L but in Navy blue :( ..Had to get 34 w and of course he will have to have a belt....................................sigh....................He'll grow into them.

Been playing with my new Magnolia stamps and have lots stamped and painted ready to assemble. Here's one i did this morning.

Time is running out

Only a few more days left of the holiday! Meg and I go back to school on Weds ( can't remember when Dans school starts back! )
Have spent the last couple of days sorting out and buying uniform (shoes, Dan is now size 10!!! and trousers.)
I have a new school bag :) Its my called Marry Poppins bag coz i need to have everything possible in it that the students have forgotten to bring! LOL
Dex should be able to go back to work on Tuesday so , the house will be back to normal chaos with a million and one things to do.
Even though it was a wet summer, we were extremely lucky to have had the weather we had in Cornwall and I am sorry its come to an end ( unusual for me )
Looking forward to Ally pally at the end of the month with two of my sisters ( MIGHT even be able to persuade Steph to meet us there???? hint :))

ScrapaGoGo's July kit

Didn't get used as much as would have liked. It was GORG so i got it back out yesterday. Just added some fancy pants rub ons and altered thickers ( sorry Steph you haven't a clue what i am on about do you ? LOL)

This is my niece Eva , who is sunning herself in the Dominican Republic at the mo ( lucky girl ) with the rest of the Pizzies :)

Dex and i are off out for a meal and shopping soon ..yayyyyyyyyyyy The company that supplies our carer has be "sacked" so we loose her in Oct , so we are making the most of it :(..Knew it would happen, always does.)

Early post

I have the whole day in front of me ( well almost..i am aware that it is now just after 10)
Dropped Dex and Dan off at the station about an hour ago and my lazy girls are still asleep in bed. .................sigh.
I really should, tidy . sort , do washing, cook something scrumptious for tea.................BUT this time next week i shall be back at work...I LOVE it but it leaves very little time to do things i want , like blog, serf , scrap and read.
I have read three books this hol :) Two made me cry and the other was Harry Potter. Can't remember the last time i read and i love reading.
Anyway, back to today, i suppose it will be a mixture of pottering about and scrapping.
I have decided to hire a skip at the weekend ..we have SO much clutter ( apart from lots of weeds in the garden!).
Right , I'll go put some washing in the machine.............

Well Dex is off for another week but he and Dan are off ( by train) to Ipswich Football club tomorrow. So, it SHOULD be quiet here! They are going with a group from Social services. There are about 50 children and carers go. They get to train on the ground and a guided tour. Dan always loves it ( so does Dex ;))

The LO is of my wonderful family : 3 sisters, 4 partners and 7 children :) I love them to bits. The photos were taken at the cemetery so, the missing members: Mum, dad and Cav, weren't far away. Anyway I enjoyed doing this even though it looks a bit "noisey"..looks better IRL.

I scrapped

This afternoon while the boys were at football. I have to say that now they are back, there is NO peace!! TV on PSP on full blast and Dan is also winding Nats up ..ohh joy.

the "Goth Girl" is from a range of stamps from the stamp attic designed by Jill Penny. I think they are really cool :)

Went to wyverstone yesterday and had a really good day, even doing Janice's challenge of using old stash and a sketch.
Today Dan and Dex have gone to watch Ipswich and Meg is out playing..Its heavenly here.I am finally going to listen to Darren new album :)

Congratulations

To everyone who got their exam results this week. Becca took a science GSCE, even though she is only yr 10 and came away with an A AND A*.
This is my Aug LO for ScrapaGoGo, I only managed one as we were dealing with dads funeral etc.
It STARS my Sis Anet.
I have spent the last few very dark, wet days making cards for the coming months birthdays. Tomorrow I am off to Wyverstone to crop :)

Today

We said goodbye to dad. He ashes were interned with Mum in Cavell's grave. It was really sad but at least all the children were there and able to say goodbye and take notes and flowers.
I know it might seem bad taste but afterwards, before we all went our separate ways, i took some photos. We are not often all together.

My Holiday book.

I won't bore you will all of it just the first few pages. The cover is just a piece of Creative imaginations "vibe" p paper that i have gone over almost every dot with stickles glitter glue or glaze gel pens.
I am using a little of this paper on each page.
The book is an 8" x 8" 7 gypsies blank book.

Rosie poopee

Came to visit us today. The "poopee" is her swear word,and she slips it into conversations and rhymes every so often. She KNOWS its naughty because she told me so. Little pickle!! She made us laugh anyway ( so sorry nets if we re enforced bad behaviour)...Its sort of essential in THIS house. A couple of photos from today and my lovely sis Nets :). She is holding the cushion up so you can't see my top secret ScrapaGoGo Lo that i am working on at the mo. ( and the mess in the scrap/dining room)

Hi Honey ...I'm home

Two glorious weeks at Praa Sands. Wonderful to NOT have a list of stuff to do.
We were really lucky with the weather and only had rain on one day. I can not describe the view from the house..breathtaking. I have tried to photograph it, video it . It just doesn't come close. We saw fireworks most nights too :)
it was impossible to watch TV in the evenings, we gave up in the end as the view is just so hypnotic.
We have been twice before and at least four times to Cornwall now. So we just went to some of our favourite places. Trebah gardens,St agnes, Lands end, Perranpoth, Sennen cove, penzance, and Truro. We visited Boscastle and Tintagel on the way home and went to Camelford (the best chip shop on the planet!)for lunch.
I will update later will photos.

Off for two Weeks

So doubt very much i will be able to blog. We are staying at praa sands in Cornwall.
The view is to die for.

Too Much!

To do :( and i really don't feel like doing anything. Even the nice stuff like getting ready for holiday. Not feeling sorry for myself and don't want any sympathy ( just a kick up the bum i suppose).
I can't think of anything i want to do at the mo, not even read my new Harry Potter or even scrap or shop or supplies!! Shock horror!!
I think watching the news last night was so very sad, seeing all those people flooded out of thier homes, can't stop thinking about it. :(

Dan finally got his Mo!! Wanted one for years LOL Actually it doesn't look as bad as I though it would. He has REALLY curly hair and it was quite long. Dex had his done too but i have to say it looks daft so he is going back this afternoon to have it all shaved off ( he is 48 for goodness sake!) It looked ok from behind ( don't we all!)LOL
Second is of my crocs...a lot brighter than I thought they would be!!! Celery :)
I will try to photograph all of them when Dans arrive ( black must be really popular!)
Last day of school yesterday....I can't believe how fast this year has gone.Just chilling today as I have a really busy week before we go off to Cornwall for two weeks ( Can't wait!!). It has been three years since we were last year and as it is getting so expensive, not sure when we can go again.
Got My Harry Potter book this morn but i am saving it for the holiday ( if I can manage it !!)

Only two more days

To work :) and then school hols!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy ( not that my children aren't work LOL) I am so looking forward to NOT getting up at 6.15 everyday.
I do have some homework from my course to do ( half way though ) but it doesn't have to be in till Sept.
Still lots of Dads things to sort out but we are off on holiday in at the end of next week so i need to get most done by then.
I have the latest ScrapaGoGo kit to play witrh and have hardly looked at it yet...what i have looked at is gorg!!
Ordered FIVE pairs of crocs for our holiday ( not all for me !!) ..a pair each..should arrive today.

Just a quickie

As i am supposed to be getting ready for work.
Thanks so much for your kind wishes re Dad. The funeral was Friday and now I just feel so incredibly sad and tired. End of term is Friday and i am so looking forward to it!
The LO is one i started a few weeks ago at Wyverstone and finally finished on Sunday. The pic reminds me of me and my sisters playing and the chant " I'm the king of the castle"....maybe i should have called it "Lady muck!"
