But I am not complaining :) Just glad I am not at work today!

I went to the Wyverstone monthly crop yesterday and did the class kit (above). Had a great time as usual and almost finished another layout- just needs tweeking.

Only three more weeks of term left , so it is getting manic at home AND at school. LOADS of school trips. Meg went to London to see Blood Bros on Thursday thanks to the FAB teaching assistant to drew up her insulin for her for her pre tea injection :)

Today we got up late , but not too late. Dex cooked us breakfast and on Fathers day! The card finally got done yesterday afternoon :)

My "go" at the new challenge blog that Anam has started. I followed the sketch and added some ribbon. I need to get started on this weeks new sketch now!!

Also getting ready for Fathers day tomorrow Fab idea from here Mine is nowhere near as good but once it is full of chocs , will look better. Need to make the card to go with it now.

It was a busy week

So no photos ........yet. I do have a lo that is almost done and just needs sticking down, so will hopefully get that done today :)
We are still really broke atm ( having spent well over £1000 on both our cars recently!) So i need to MAKE something for Dex from the kids tomorrow.
I have finished supporting in the Exams for now, there are still a few for the 6th formers though. Its really strange at school now that the yr 11 have left , i really liked this lot! Still, a few have added me as friends on face book so i will be able to keep in touch :)
We had a power cut on Monday night right in the middle of cooking tea :( It lasted for about 4 and a half hours, so after getting fed up of playing games and reading, we all had an early night. Why is it that you always desperately want a cup of coffee when there's no power? Thankfully my sis (who lives down the road from me and had no power cut) brought me a flask :)
Still sticking ( mostly- elec supply allowing) to the weekly menu. It seems to be working well , i am not throwing so much food away and we are definitely eating healthier.

What Beautiful Weather!!

I have done a little scrapping but can't upload as its for my team ( Girls with Stash) challenge on UKs next month.

Still keeping mainly to the menu I made last week and have done one for this week too. I am sure it is cheaper! We were going to have a roast today but as we are broke and didn't get too much shopping last week, it will be a homemade pizza. I made a coconut cake yesterday (above)...i THINK there's still some left!.
Photos are of the plants i potted up a few weeks ago and my lovely Herby pot right by the back door ( so i can use it easily).

The "Eyesore" out side the kitchen window is the blocked drain that we have been waiting to have done since November, the latest date so far is July 3rd!!! We keep cleaning it but its a waste of time. :(

Right then back to scrapping ;)

I am Finally a Goddess!

A DOMESTIC Goddess that is LOL Menu for this week AND next week planned, tea for tomorrow prepared and homemade :) Even managed to finish the layout I started yesterday ( house is still a mess but you can't have everything!!)
The layout is from the FAB class from Karen ( Dolly ) and you can find it here on her blog, she has even turned it into a PDF so it can be saved :) I really enjoyed doing it.

Time to get organised!

Decided to try and organise myself a little better. Starting with food and have typed up a menu for the whole week. Dex and I spend too much time trying to think of what to have for tea and I thought it would also make life so much easier even allowing more time to do some more homemade stuff. I am trying to be healthier and more economical with the food we have. I am so fed up with throwing stuff away that I WAS going to use but has gone out of date. Dex can also look at the menu to see if he can prepare stuff before I get home or see what shopping we need (as he does this alone now we have no carer) Will let you know how weel it works LOL

Tonight I made a swiss rool with fresh cream and strawberries, Dan ate it and I thought he didn't like strawberries!!!

Out Again!

This time to a crop organised by my sis Anet at Long Stratton. I was daft enough to take my girls with me which of course meant I got precious little done!! ahh well it was great to see friends that I don't see often enough :)

Meg did about 6 Lo's ( it was her first time scrapping ) but she also made quite a mess!

Today I am catching up on all the stuff i should have done yesterday. I did manage to finish the LO I started yesterday . I used one of the prima papers i bought last week and a prima paint able page to make the frame and that's about it really simple..just LOADS of stickles glitter glue. I was inspired by the slum dog millionaire song and music video " jai ho" ( still not seen the film yet!)

Great Day......

.......to almost finish half term on. Wyverstone crop with lovely people and one of my fav shops ATDML AND a sunny day :) As usual, i spent most of the time talking but did manage a class LO (above)designed and taught by Laura one of the scrapaGoGo girls.

I managed to buy lots of papers too and a couple of stamps to keep me busy for a while.

Half term is almost over!! And the sun is out too!

I SHOULD have gone out and done some weeding...there's a small patch of garden that the nettles are almost as tall as me! Instead I finished the Lo above. Was supposed to bake with Nats today but as she didn't get up till 1pm , it will have to wait till after tea. I have no idea what to do for tea and it is fast approaching. I have just sent the children up to their rooms to clam down ( that's me who needs to calm LOL) as they were constantly bickering...i don't think they even know they are doing it. Its just habit, but it drives me potty!

I am off to a crop tomorrow :) AND next Sat, not that i expect to DO much apart from Shop and chat!

Lazy day!!

Really lazy.....I have done nothing except waste time on here!! Listening to music and pottering about. The card was finished last night , so i can't even have claimed to have made it today. I am halfway though a layout but the light is fading and i need to watch ( and cry to ) Greys soon.

I couldn't resist the pic of the limes before I juiced them..they look so pretty :). Then the pie, not as sickly as it looks but enough to feed a small army!

The sausage plait is no more LOL it was our tea and every crumb is gone ( i made one for the freezer too).

There you go. I am impressed myself but i HAVE been supporting quite a bit in food tech at school and keep thinking "i could do that" ..so i have.

If you look closely, you will see absolutely NO glitter!! Dunno how that happened, must be feeling ill, but i think it works ! LOL
Hopefully I will get chance top play a bit more today. Have managed to talk myself into making key lime pie today via FB last night! Dex didn't know what it was. I have never made it before so IF it turns out well, there MAY be photos later.

Hate this bit of the week as half term is now half way though and the next few weeks at work will be awful with Exams everyday and during lunch and possibly after school :( .best not to think about it.

Playing with stamps and ink.

Last night and today.......lovely :) The sun is now out but it did pour all night and this morning, so I made a couple of cards. The beautiful stamps are from http://laviniastamps.com/. I first saw them at Ally pally a few weeks ago and bought a couple but theres LOADS more i want from the website! LOL
