Friday Smiles

I thought I'd show you how tall the sunflowers are getting - I have tied them back now as they are well over 7 foot and no where near ready to flower yet.
***
Hubby works nights and has a shift of 4 days on and two off, that means it's never the same two days and during term time we don't get too many days off together. As I am still on holiday and his two days off start today - we are off out . Now it might not seem THAT exciting when I tell you where.
Our "children" ( adults) all have learning/mental heath/heath problems so don't drive or get out as much as I would like them to . I told them all to choose somewhere that they would like to go and normally wouldn't get chance. Natalie ( 30 yrs) loves scrap booking and creating and although she often has access to my supplies ( plus loads of her own) has asked to go to the Range ( she has her list ready :) ).

Dan ( 21yrs) Typical boy - loves the slot machines and has been saving coins for ages.
So we are off to Ipswich to the Range and then on to Felixstowe for the penny arcade and hopefully something to eat.

Megan ( 20 yrs) has chosen the cinema and she is going next week with hubby ( some super hero film). Hopefully everyone will be happy . If they let me take photos, I will share later.

If you would like to share YOUR smiles on a Friday , HERE is the link to Annie's blog - where it all starts.

Love Soojay xx

Oh my Sue the sunflowers sure are tall... they are special flowers though, I think most people like them. Great idea with the kids, must remember that with our lot. Happy Friday and enjoy your time with hubby. Robyn

I love going to the Range too. We have nothing comparable here in rural Spain. In fact I have already started my list for when I come over to visit my sister in the Autumn. She always takes me to the Range. And I have a son who finds the penny arcades hard to resist! I hope you enjoyed your days out, and time spent with your family! Kate x

Wow those sunflowers are huge. Hubby normally plants ours randomly so I never know when they are going to pop up. Unfortunately he never got round to doing this year. Shame as I like seeing here they are.
Hope you had a good time at The Range. I just know you will have picked up a thing or two!
Hugs

Your sunflowers are doing great!
Good idea. I love going to the Range too. When we were in the UK earlier this year, we came off the ferry in Plymouth (from Santander)and almost immediately went to the Range!
I hope the 'kids' have had a good time with lots of smiles!

Sounds like you were in for a fun day out! Love a visit to the Range myself and not averse to the occasional shot on a slot machine either ... however, they soon swallow up your change :( Those are massive sunflowers - look forward to seeing them in flower. Elizabeth xx
