It's been a good week . GCSE results day yesterday and I popped into school to see the pupils get their results. Our grades were up again this year and all our pupils did very well so I wasn't needed to support just congratulate.
On Wednesday ( the only Sunny day this week) I went to Southwold and had a ride on a horse and carriage. It was a lovely day.
Hubby is off work today and just asked if I wanted to go out ..............hummmm........where to go?
I have a joke for you .( and it's clean! - sorry ;) )
A man left for work one Friday afternoon. Instead of going
home, he stayed out the entire weekend hunting with the boys and
spending all his wages. When he finally got home on Sunday night, he was confronted by his very angry wife.
After two hours, she stopped nagging and said: 'How would you like it if you didn't see me for two or three days?' He replied: 'That would be fine with me.' Monday went by and he didn't see his wife. Tuesday and Wednesday came and went with the same results.
Thursday, the swelling went down just enough for him to see her a little out of the corner of his left eye

Well done to your pupils....good reflection on the teachers' hard work!!
Lucky you to get a horse carriage ride. I am hoping we get to go one with friends when we are in Prague in December!! it has been a while since Hubby and I went on one so it will be fun to share a carriage with our friends this time.
Very funny!!

Your joke made me smile, but so did hearing that your school results were good. It can be a very stressful time for those who don´t do so well. I hope the carriage ride was fun. Kate x
Well done to you and your pupils on good results!
Great chuckle too.

Hi Sue, sorry for being so late but, apart from being away for the weekend, I'm also up to my eyes packing up my stash in readiness for the craft room makeover so it's taken me this long to visit. All good news about the GCSE results - my grandson did well too. Loved the joke - I'm still chuckling :) Elizabeth xx
